Sivoia QS Triathlon
One of the challenges for homeowners is integrating motorized shades after the build phase. Often, these shades require running wires and are best installed before the drywall and outlets go in. Due to the required retrofitting, existing homes may require costly change orders and be more expensive to install.
Sivoia QS Triathlon shades offer a wireless, battery-powered solution. These are ideal for homeowners requiring a versatile option and perfect for retrofit applications. Batteries are easily accessible and provide an industry-leading 3 to 5-year battery life.
You can adjust your shades with a remote, wall-mounted control, or mobile app. They are also compatible with Lutron’s higher-end control systems, including RA2 Select, RadioRA 3, HomeWorks QS (QSX), and Caséta PRO.
Unlike Palladiom shades, these shades come with valance and metal or fabric-wrapped fascia options along with extensive fabric options. They are also available in three different styles: roller, wood blinds, and honeycomb shades.
Palladiom Shades
Lutron’s signature line, the Palladiom shading system, offers unmatched elegance and style. These shades come in wired and wireless solutions, making them ideal for pre-builds and retrofits. High-end fabrics and premium finishes are well-known aspects of these shades, with meticulously hand-finished brackets available in numerous finishes. Similar to Sivoia QS Triathlon roller shades, they are built for windows up to 12 feet.
Unlike Sivoia QS, their Palladiom line has no fascia, pocket, or recess. Instead, the exposed bracket provides a modern aesthetic ideal in today’s industrial, minimalist, and modern homes while blending in with nearly any architectural style. The bottom rail offers a groundbreaking method for ensuring the material lies flat, disappearing behind the shade when fully open. These shades are only compatible with the premier Homeworks QS (QSX) and RadioRA 3 control systems.
The Right Choice for You
Selecting the right motorized window treatments for your unique setting and aesthetics can be narrowed down based on the operating system, materials, and design. HomeWorks QS is the pinnacle of Lutron’s system, with elegant, custom-designed keypads.
At Eyehear Technology Group, we know there’s a lot to consider when selecting automated window coverings. As a Lutron Diamond dealer with years of experience in design and integration, we’re well-versed in which window treatments are best suited for various applications. A wired system may be best if your home is in the planning phase. If they’re being fitted retrospectively, battery-powered options may be the best solution.
